QuestionI have four children all of which are pretty unruly. How would I go about finding more about helping my children become more discipline?
    asked by: Aaron P.
    • AnswerThere are many counselors who would love to talk with you about helping your children, and there are also many books available on parenting. I would recommend resources that focus on communication. The manor in which you talk to your kids can have a big effect on discipline. Any family counselor would love to help you out.

QuestionI am looking to start all my children in martial arts. What is the discipline that is taught in martial arts?
    asked by: Timothy J.
    • AnswerThe discipline taught in martial arts is simply self-discipline. It helps to teach your kids that training and focusing on a goal can really help them to achieve. This lesson, applicable to all of life, is demonstrated physically as they train to perform their art. They are taught to physically defend themselves through their training.

QuestionMy daughter is very active and she is totally testing her waters now. She will not sit in time out for us at all. What are some good ways to discipline a two year old?
    asked by: Joshua X.
    • AnswerPut her in her bedroom and close the door. She will have full access to her room and her toys, but she will get isolated and she will know that it is a form of time out. Start with her on her bed, let her know that she is in trouble and then leave the room.
