AnswerTyler, My diabetes is controlled by diet and I eat at any restaurant I chose! Any restaurant has salads ( no creamy or sugar dressing), vegies ( Avoid suger peas), meats ( chicken, turkey and lean beef with no sauces are best) and whole grain breads which are all perfectly fine for diabetics.
Things that are not good for a Diabetic diet are sweets, of course, high fat foods ( especially fried foods) and starchy foods such as white rice, corn, pasta and potatoes.
Portions are also a major concern. You must not eat large protions of anything, except fresh salad or steamed veggies.
